# Adding knowledge to the KB

The KB at kb.bantuva.com is maintained via its API (a manage web UI is a later phase).

## From the workspace host

Use the helper: tools/kb-add.sh in the kb repo — pass slug (or empty for auto),
title, category, comma-separated tags, summary, and a markdown body file.

## Rules

- Bodies are markdown; they are auto-split into segments for search.
- Categories and tags are created on demand.
- The read side is public: never include secrets in knowledge; reference the
  ~/bantuva runbook instead.
